I am an Oregon state certified public school teacher with an endorsement in music and a Master’s degree in education. My music experience started by singing in church during elementary school. By high school I sang in All State choir, was a worship leader, and was the soloist at graduation (singing “Time in a Bottle” while playing guitar). After studying music and voice at George Fox University, I sang and played in various bands. My vocal range is from F1 to D5 (about 4 1/2 octaves moving from chest to falsetto).
My bachelor’s degree is in Psychology, a field where I was once an adjunct professor. A knowledge of psychology has helped prepare myself and my students in innumerable vocal performances. I registered VoiceRelax.com in 2010. Most recently, during the 2015-2016 school year, I taught music to 750 elementary (K-5) students.
